High-mountain black tea from the Alishan tea region in Chiayi, grown above 1,000 meters. Wrapped in traditional kraft paper and tied with hemp twine — as rustic as the mountain itself. The liquor is a bright amber-red with natural floral and fruity aromas. Smooth, mellow, and free of bitterness. Alishan's dramatic temperature swings and misty clouds give this tea its deep, sweet character.
Use 3-5g with 95°C (200°F) water. First steep about 60 seconds, adding 15 seconds each round. Good for 4-5 infusions. Also wonderful as milk tea, or cold-brewed for 8 hours.
